Yesterday my sister Ginny and I headed for Lazy Mountain again, since the first time we climbed it we got no view at the top due to being fogged in....The funny thing about being fogged in and not being able to see 5o ft in front of you is that we didnt see that the path continued and we had not gotten to the top, we had only gotten about 2/3rds of the way up........

It was pretty smokey and cloudy on the way up....The smoke from the fires in the area....
But at the top we were well above it all....Ginny got her foot picture.....
I got her shadow....
And the view was pretty nice! The climb was difficult but we made it to the Real top this time!! We decided that Crazy Moutain was a better name for it!

Walking upon this winding path the stones press sharply into ones feet. The journey seems difficult and painful at times, though still uphill and tiresome this path may be, it is a place where beauty and peace can still be found, but only if one takes the time to pause, to take it all in. Only then will one hear the birds in the trees, feel the cool breeze on your face and smell the sweet scent of rain as it lingers on the air. So is this Journey we call Life.
At the Top.....The glacial Lake was beautifully clear...

I love this shot of Ginny. The Zoo is fairly small and this shot makes it look like she needed to call for directions!
The theme at the Zoo today was "BAD Hair Day" and "Nap Time"!
