Ginny and I decided to take a quick hike up to Gold Cord Lake at Hatchers Pass. The Lake is at the top of the mountain... It was overcast and nice weather for a run up the mountain.....It took us 25 minutes to get up.....This is an old miners cabin insultated with sod....
At the Top.....The glacial Lake was beautifully clear...
A waterfall in the distance.......
The landscape reminds me of Ireland...The rocky terrain all covered in plant life....

and it took us 12 minutes to run down the mountain.....

Imagine that. Having a local mountain to run up whenever the mood is right. Well captured!
